this is a post about my day trip to Reims a while ago. The french say it like RANHNSS. I’m not sure where they come up with that from the spelling.
Basically Reims is the capital of Champagne country and the Notre Dame Cathedralblows the Paris one out of the water. Its covered in statues and it is very ornate. Inside the church was beautiful but it was freezing inside. I couldn’t wait to get back outside because it was warmer out there.
We went on a champagne tasting tour as well. We went to Pommery champagne cellars? I actually dont remember what they called them. They keep all of their champagne in underground tunnels, the cool thing is, in the tunnels along side the have modern art expositions.  Its a crazy juxtaposition is be underground, with a million champagne bottles and then randomly a piece of modern art.
le champagne était très excellent!
