Then something happened. something difficult to describe. Sitting there, alone in a foreign country, far from my job and everyone I know, a feeling came over me. It was like remembering something I'd never known before or had always been waiting for, but I didn't know what. Maybe it was something I'd forgotten or something I've been missing all my life. All I can say is that I felt, at the same time, joy and sadness. But not too much sadness, because I felt alive. Yes, alive.

That was the moment I fell in love with Paris. And I felt Paris fall in love with me.

no pictures of the apartment yet. The place is pretty messy so I dont want to post it for the whole world to see. The first two pictures are of the apartment building, and the other two are Place Félix Éboué and Daumesnil, which is where we live.

I have two room mates, I’m never home so I don’t see them a lot.

I started school this week, its been pretty difficult. France in general is also difficult. There is a language barrier contrary to whatevery one says, not everyone speaks english. Actually most people outside of the tourist areas, where i live, do not speak english. Doing every day tasks requires a lot of effort. I’ll write more about it later.
